W Ketchup Endorses Republicans for Congress

Eagle Bridge, NY — October 30, 2006 — Today W Ketchup announced it is endorsing the Republican Party in the congressional elections next week. In the previous election, after much speculation, W Ketchup endorsed George W. Bush for President for the United States.

“Endorsing the Republicans wasn’t as easy as it might have seemed,” commented Chairman Bill Zachary. “They’ve presided over the largest increase in domestic spending in 40 years, a far cry from their promises in the Contract with America that swept them into office, they failed to kill the death tax, and they have failed to protect our borders. But when we considered what the country would be like under the Democrats, with would-be Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid raising our taxes, ruining our economy, and making us less safe, it became an easy choice. Hopefully, after the elections there will be leadership changes in the party.”

W Ketchup CEO Dan Oliver added, “Our fundamental reason for advocating the Republicans is this man:

Justice Stevens has been a member of the liberal bloc of the U.S. Supreme Court since 1975 and is 86½ years old. If he leaves office in the next two years for any reason, the country will have a history opportunity to roll back the legacy of the activist court. Just last week the Supreme Court of New Jersey mandated gay marriage for that state, in blatant disregard of the democratic process. We think it’s time to return to a government of the people by the people and for the people, and not of lawyers by the nine appointed members of the Supreme Court and for the special victims groups.”

W Ketchup was founded to give Americans a choice of ketchup, and a choice not to support Heinz, Teresa Heinz, and John Kerry. W Ketchup urges voters to exercise their choice next week to elect representatives who will protect their liberties as well as their safety.

W Ketchup is made for Americans, and is sold only in America. The only organization to which W Ketchup donates money is the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for the children of service members killed in the line of duty.
